I want to hear this: The GTX480 has 512SP and is 30%-50% faster than HD5870 and will cost $500. Nvidia please tell me that.

Drive over to san jose again…. :3
This dude needs a new graphics card!
Can’t do my photography without Nvidia!
    Nsist on Nvidia Indeed!.

If I can get >30%+ better FPS in the majority of games and pay *less* than 30% premium over the competition, then the 470/480 will indeed have better value. On-line pre-order already show prices of 399$ for the 470 and 549$ for the 480.
In this time of recession, It will all come down to price-performance ratio. Judging by the confidence Nvidia has shown for it’s new puppy in the last 6 months, who can doubt the 470 and 480 success?
Have faith, dear fans! On the 26, benchmarks will erase all your doubts… LOL
