Check out Hardware Canucks’ video review of NVIDIA Optimus Technology. They do a great real-time demo, and even offer up some side-by-side video comparisons of the technology in action. We’re also pretty psyched that the Canucks gave Optimus the Dam Innovative Award and the Asus UL50VF, the Hardware Canucks Dam Good Award. So what are you waiting for, eh?

    Which one?
    We have already started sending them out to Optimus owners…
    If you want to assign a GPU to an application there are a couple of simple ways to do that, too.

    In particular, the Starcraft 2 beta doesn’t work with Optimus (mentioned in an earlier post…).
    I’m assuming whatever updates are released will be made available here:

    I take it there has been no progress? I’ve had the laptop for 3 weeks, the newest update for these profiles is over a month and a half old. Having applications that flat-out do not use the discrete GPU was a major concern I’d seen in reviews for the technology, and the remedy for this was to be regular fixes. Needless to say, this is very disappointing…
