NVIDIA (Hall 7, Stand 7.J38) has a major presence again at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam, which kicks off today, and runs through Tuesday, September 14th, at the RAI Centre.

On the exhibit floor, we are demonstrating new, breakthrough technologies for 3D broadcasting, leveraging the Quadro Digital Video Pipeline, which incorporates new Quadro graphics processing units (GPUs) based on the NVIDIA Fermi architecture.  The new Quadro lineup delivers enhanced graphics processing and visual effects simulation, with performance that is up to five times faster for 3D applications1. The Digital Video Pipeline integrates live action 3D acquisition, real-time 3D graphics, 3D encoding, and 3D distribution for home theater or PC based viewing – all accelerated by graphics processing units, or GPUs, from the company that invented the GPU in 1999.

In addition, an impressive roster of more than 30 exhibitors at IBC 2010 are featuring NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics solutions and the NVIDIA CUDA parallel computing architecture. These solutions empower broadcast, film, and new media production pros to improve their workflows and deliver content like they’ve never done before.

Exhibitors featuring NVIDIA Quadro and CUDA technology at IBC 2010 include:
