We couldn’t let a milestone like this go unnoticed.
Less than two years after the introduction of 3D Vision at CES 2009, there are now 1,000 products in its ecosystem, including notebook and desktop PCs, displays, TVs, projectors, GPUs, video applications, cameras and games. Industry adoption of 3D Vision has outpaced even our best expectations.
Certainly we’ve benefited from the huge trend towards 3D in everything from Hollywood movies to sporting events to digital photography. (You can even buy 3D toothpaste of all things!) But we’ve also worked hard with game developers and partners to ensure that consumers have a great 3D experience out of the box.
That’s reflected in the many stories and awards lauding 3D Vision, and also in the diverse companies which now offer 3D Vision-Ready products:

What’s more, 3D Vision supports a wide variety of 3D content including more than 475 games, Blu-ray 3D movies, 3D photos and streaming Web video. We support more games than any other 3D technology, including the most popular game franchises: Call of Duty, Civilization, StarCraft, StarCraft II, World of Warcraft, and more. We also support a growing number of 3D video/photo editing and playback applications, including:

Later this month, we’ll bring 3D Vision application support to an entirely new market, with NVIDIA 3DTV Play. 3DTV Play will allow consumers to attach their PC or notebook to 3D TVs and HDMI 1.4-capable TV and enjoy all the latest 3D content in the comfort of their living rooms in full HD 3D, and HD surround sound audio. 3DTV Play will enable users to view 3D video trailers, videos, sports, shorts, and more at NVIDIA’s 3D Vision Live, the world’s first 3D streaming Web channel.
