    Great show.

Will nVidia release more information about of Tegra 4 at CES?
    For example:
Release date of products and Shield? Technical whitepapers?

Shield is just a prototype – design may change

    nVidia RE-DESIGN PLEASE!
sorry, but this device have EVERYTHING going for it EXCEPT the awful DESIGN.

“Our engineers are gamers, too. So I’d like to share with you something.,…”
    But clearly not designers

Its a fat ugly xbox controller with a screen screwed on. come on!

    Please slim it down.
Keep screen size but minimize the bezel around it.
Make a slim and good looking controller.
    hire some real designers please.

    Slimming
    1. How about the unit is flat, size/shape like a mobile phone (a little fatter if it must be). touch screen action only
    2. Slide the screen upwards and buttons and down-pressed analog sticks pops up.gaming with button and sticks and touch screen.
    3. the handles are flat and folded under the device making it the square size of a  mobile phone.
The handles are folded out and when they are folded out they also bends automatically and gets round (not completely round but enough to support the hands)
When folding back they go back to being flat again.
    4. when the handles are folded out the screen can be tilted up.

    good looking design
sorry can’t really give tips but there must be some good designers out there that can make a unit look like its made in 2013 and not 2001

    Mike,

I think you need to consider that the device is designed and meant to be connected to a TV, and the screen is just extra for when you are not near your TV.  I think the goal was to make the device from a design perceptive most like a game controller.  :)
