Meet Vice President, Game Content and Technology
Ashu Rege manages the Developer Content and Technology team at NVIDIA, which includes The Way It’s Meant To Be Played (TWIMTBP) program, content management, technical evangelism, developer technology and PhysX and APEX teams. Before becoming a manager at NVIDIA, he actually did somewhat useful work as a devtech engineer, working with developers around the world on different applications.
Prior to NVIDIA, he co-founded or worked at various companies related to computer graphics and modeling, networking and internet technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley, and has published and presented in various journals and conferences on graphics, geometric modeling, AI, error-correction codes and networking among other areas.
In his copious spare time, Ashu likes to patronize seedy dive bars, read up on ancient history and practice his Bollywood dance moves, sometimes all at the same time.
