Joseph Stam is a Principal Vision Architect for NVIDIA Corporation. He has a focus on computer vision, video, and image processing applications of NVIDIA Processors in a variety of markets. Prior to joining NVIDIA in 2007, Joe worked in the automotive industry for 12 years on research and development of imaging hardware and computer vision algorithms for vehicle based vision products. Joe received a B.S. degree in Engineering Physics & Computer Science from Hope College in Holland, Michigan and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University. He is an inventor on over 80 U.S. patents and several foreign patents, many of which relate to computer vision software and imaging hardware technologies.
