Boost Far Cry 3’s Performance With New GeForce Drivers

NVIDIA released today a new GeForce R310 driver optimized for the latest big holiday title, Far Cry 3.

This new GeForce 310.64 beta driver provides up to 38 percent faster gaming performance in Far Cry 3. The release is just the latest example of how NVIDIA works closely with game developers to tune its software to deliver the best performance for the year’s biggest gaming titles.

Two weeks ago, NVIDIA released a new GeForce R310 driver that delivered up to 26 percent faster performance for Call of Duty: Black Ops II and up to 18 percent faster performance for Assassin’s Creed III.

GeForce 310.64 Driver Highlights

  • Improves performance in Far Cry 3 by up to 38 percent1.
  • Plus, previously-released R310 optimizations:
    • Up to 26 percent faster performance in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2;
    • Up to 18 percent faster performance in Assassin’s Creed III;
    • Smooth, shimmer-free graphics with TXAA anti-aliasing in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Assassin’s Creed III;
    • Up to 16 percent in other top games likes Battlefield 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and StarCraft II.

    too bad tho that the biggest title this year has no support for Nvidia 3d Vision. Or have you forgotten about your 3d Vision users? That doesn’t come close to working close together.

    I haven’t played the game with any pre-310.64 drivers, but with this release, the game runs perfectly!

    Thirded!  This game is incredible – in my experience and 20 years of gaming playing just about everything it is just in another league entirely – it is MADE for stereoscopic 3D and the issues that are there are surely extremely simple to fix given similar fixes have been made available for other games in the past.  Nvidia, PLEASE sort this out and unleash the best gaming experience known to date!!!

    Nvidia please fix your driver so that we can play Far Cry 3 in 3D. If ever there was a game made for 3D this is it. Your pushing 3D. We love 3D. Why not fix Far Cry 3 so it plays in 3D?

    Richard is right!!! Please Nvidia, update the 3D Vision Profiles of the newest games like Far CRy 3 or Assassins Creed III, even Need For Speed MW 2, so they can get at least a “Good” rating!!!

    This is all bullshits guys im telling you to know that those guys are messed up with everyone I donwload many versions for my pc Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit My model IS FZ071AA B1A A6565GR and noone of those dident work before this accidently i delete Nvidia graphic card And i didnt know how to repair the damage i try couple thinks on this page noone of those didnt have what i was looking for or actually was but The were telling me “This instalations cannot continue”
