Four years and 4.5 million readers after we launched our blog, we’re giving it its most extensive makeover yet.

Our aim is to make it easier to view, more fun to read and a lot simpler to share.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  1. A More Visual Homepage—A photo or chart can say more than the words that accompany them. We’ve carved out more space on the blog’s homepage for images. Seems obvious, given that we’re a visual computing company.

More showing, less telling: images are now front and center.
  2. Social Media Moves Front-and-Center—When we gave readers the ability to share our posts on their favorite social media platform, the response was enormous. We’ve taken the hint and integrated social media features more deeply into the blog’s design.

Check the icon at the top left hand corner of each post to see how often it's been shared, or click to share a story on the social media service of our choice.

  3. A Mobile First Experience—Just a few years ago, most people did their Web surfing on a PC. Now, they’re using smartphones and tablets. So we revamped our designs so that our blog looks its best no matter your screen size, whether on a 20-inch monitor or an Android phone.

Under your thumb: a layout that’s easy to flick through on mobile devices.

Of course, the most important element to the blog remains the same: you.

We’re redoubling our efforts to engage with readers one-on-one in our comments section, below.

Let us know what you think, and what we can do better.
