Stan Boland

Stan Boland is Senior Vice President, Mobile Communications at NVIDIA Corporation, having joined the Company on the acquisition of Icera Inc. Stan was appointed CEO of Acorn Computers in 1998. He represented Acorn as a Board member of ARM Holdings through its IPO and then he span out an ADSL chipset business, Element 14 Inc., which was acquired in 2000 by Broadcom Corporation. In 2002, Stan co-founded Icera Inc. and, over a period of 9 years, led the company as CEO as it developed and commercialized its first modem chipsets and firmware based on a revolutionary SDR baseband processor. Icera’s modem is used on over 120 different products and approved on over 60 carriers globally.
