The tutorials can be downloaded from http://www.nvidia.com/object/gz_tutorials.html.

They come in one big zip file plus individual video (*.mov) files for each tutorial. (The videos are useful, but not absolutely essential, and were cumulatively too large to include in a single download.)

The tutorials require Gelato 2.1 and Maya (of course) a pdf reader, and Quicktime or other video player for *.mov files. The tutorials assume you have a basic proficiency in Maya.

If you're not a Maya user, the videos are a useful introduction to Gelato features. You just have to ignore the specifics of the Maya UI.

The release version of Gelato 2.1 is now available for download from the Gelato Zone website.

It has some minor fixes from the release candidate we published on 14 February. And of course, Gelato 2.1 includes support for Maya 8.5.

If you're using an earlier version of Gelato, we recommend that you upgrade to this latest release.
