There are some truly amazing technologies on display in the Exhibit Hall. Here's just a taste of a few...
Maserati and Audi have three cars on the show floor with 3D graphics displays incorporated into the dashboards. Be sure to check these out.
The NVIDIA booth has several really neat technologies on display. First up is 3D stereoscopic gaming. This is being shown on two amazing displays. The first is the ViewSonic LCD with a 3ms response time and 120 Hz refresh rate. The second is a Mitsubishi 73-inch 1080p DLP.
Another technology not to be missed in the NVIDIA booth is interactive raytracing. Built with CUDA and NVSG technology and powered by two Quadro Plex D2 visual computing systems, the 3-bounce, real-time raytracing is done at 1080p resolution at up to 30 Hz. The technology supports 4x antialiasing, full refractions, and full reflections.
Perhaps the most prominent exhibit in the NVIDIA booth is the powerwall featuring a high-resolution model of a Lamborghini Reventon automobile. Created by RTT, the display is powered by two Quadro Plex D2 VCSs.
There are several video transcoding and playback apps on display on the exhibit floor. In the NVIDIA booth is the ArcSoft program is showing real-time, stutter-free conversion of HD to SD video. And the CUDA-enabled Badaboom video transcoder by Elemental Technologies is on display in their booth.
Seeingmachines is showing off their faceAPI face-tracking software. The software can track a user's facial movements and potential applications include alert systems for drowsy drivers in automobiles, identifying facial expressions and transferring them to a game player's avatar, and automatic placement of car seats, mirrors, etc. for different drivers in a family.
Finally, Edge3 is demonstrating their CUDA-enabled Advance Machine Learning software, a touchless user interface. The software tracks the user's movements and translates these into commands for the computer interface.
These are just a handful of the many demos that can be seen in the Exhibit Hall. Don't miss these and the others.
