Ingram Micro and ASUS - A One-Stop Shop for Selling and Servicing Build-to-Order Solutions

Ingram Micro’s new U.S.-based distribution agreement with ASUS includes the global CE manufacturer’s entire line of award-winning components and notebook products.  Under the new alliance, ASUS partners are now able to tap into Ingram Micro for product, as well as assistance on a variety of sales, marketing, technical support and business resources.

According to Tim Ament, vice president of Ingram Micro’s Components Division, the white box market  continues to provide profitable opportunities for system builders – especially those that are looking beyond the technology and getting involved in value-added services such as integration and design.    Ingram Micro can assist resellers with these needs via its integration services, technical support, and engineering resources.

“Together with ASUS, we’re offering an undeniable value proposition for system builders that are looking to expand their BTO solutions portfolio and extend their services capabilities,” says Ament.  “The real value for system builders is their ability to customize a solution that fits their clients’ needs and budgets, and then back that solution with exceptional service.  It’s this service flexibility and value that we’re helping our partners create and take to market.”

ASUS motherboards, barebones systems, graphic cards, optical disks, and cooling products are available immediately to channel partners in the U.S.

For more information about Ingram Micro and ASUS system builders can contact their Ingram Micro sales team or the Ingram Micro Components Division at (800) 456-8000, ext. 76466.
