One thing I missed yesterday was to let everyone know that the new technology demo for the GeForce GTX 200, Medusa, is now available to download. Medusa a NVIDIA's interpretation of the legendary snake-headed woman who's venomous gaze turned her victims to stone. Having seen this demo live, its pretty cool and very compelling. I am excited to see games utilize the new GPU architecture we launched.

This doesn't work on windows 7 x64 for some odd reason. I even installed the C++ redistributable. It's not even working at all with my own tries at it. So now ther'es nothing here at all for it.
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo 2.00Ghz
GPU: Nvidia GTS 260m
OS:Windows7 x64 ultimate.

This demo runs on my 8600 GT, but not on the 9600 GT on a friens computer. I get the side-by-side configuration error as mentioned before in this post.

is there a fix for this yet?

I think you need C++ Redistributable to solve those side-by-side error. It runs on my 8600GT at 800x600 around 5FPS - 21FPS.

How about something thats less CG looking and more photo realistic and cinematic? Its really not something we've seen before.
ATI's new Ruby demo makes this look old.

Thanks for the feedback Master-T.

Very nice, especially the end. It started with the beautiful Nalu and now we have Medusa with an environment which was missing in the past.
But honestly I don't feel that "WOW" effect anymore... some things like the face look perfect realistic but other things like hands and textures just look strange.
