It was an extremely busy day on the NVIDIA booth on Day 2 of SC09 in Portland, Ore. The on-booth theater was a huge hit with standing room only available for all the sessions that took place throughout the day.

There were some excellent presentations from both internal NVIDIA spokespeople and from prominent figures in the academic and scientific research communities including Matt Dixon from UC Davis, Tobias Brandvik from Cambridge University, Prof. Satoshi Matsuoka from Tokyo Tech and Ross Walker from UC San Diego.

A big thank you to everyone who presented and for those that came to listen. If you missed it, don't worry, all the sessions were recorded – audio and the slides can be viewed online right here.

Tomorrow looks set to be a great day in the theater as well with speakers including Jack Dongarra from University of Tennessee, Jeff Vetter from Oak Ridge National Lab, Paul Crozier from Sandia National Lab and John Stone from University of Illinois presenting.

Be sure to come early if you want a seat!
