We’re getting ready for SIGGRAPH 2010 in Los Angeles, where NVIDIA is going to be showing off a host of new Quadro solutions, announcing new developments with ray tracing and featuring some cool systems from Dell and HP plus amazing display solutions from Barco. We’ll be there from July 27-29 on the exhibit floor at booth #725 in the Los Angeles Convention Center, so be sure to drop by.

SIGGRAPH is always an great showcase for the latest in computer graphics and interactive techniques. And this year, we’re really excited to be there with Quadro solutions that will blow your socks off. We can’t go into too much detail before the show begins, but let’s just say we are introducing some true technological breakthroughs, and we think that the professional CG world is going to like them…a lot.

Plus, we’ll have a ton of other great stuff going on, like the chance to win an NVIDIA Quadro graphics solutions (enter now, then visit our booth to see if you’ve won). Here are some of the highlights:

  • NVIDIA Sketch Match (Booth #1101). Show off your skills by racing the clock in competition against other illustrators, animators and designers.
  • NVArt competition with futurist Syd Mead in person (Booth #1101). The theme of this year’s NVArt competition is “Accelerate” – futuristic transportation in the style of Syd Mead. Syd himself will stop by to sign free, limited-edition posters of his Sentinel 400 print in Booth #1101 between 1 PM and 2 PM on Tuesday, July 27, and Wednesday, July 28. If you’re a fan of the man whose concept designs were used for films like Blade Runner, Aliens, 2010 and more, make sure you don’t miss out on this chance to rub shoulders with a legend.
  • NVIDIA Quadro Digital Theater (Booth #725). Hungry to learn about the latest techniques and developments in graphics? Be sure to check out our Quadro Digital Theater – that’s where you’ll find featured talks by industry luminaries and technology innovators. You’ll also get a chance to play around with some pretty amazing demos.
  • NVIDIA Developer Sessions (Room 402B). If you're a developer, be sure to check out these sessions, where you can learn all about the latest and tools, techniques and resources for programming GPUs. Sessions run all day, Wednesday, July 28, 2010, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
