Are you eyeing that brand new 3D HDTV at your local store and wondering how to get 3D content on it?  NVIDIA has just the product for you – NVIDIA 3DTV Play software.

Today we announced the availability of 3DTV Play software bundled with Dell’s XPS 14-, 15- & 17-inch  notebooks, making it easier than ever to connect your GeForce-based notebook to an HDMI 1.4 3D TV.

3DTV Play lets you play nearly 500 3D games, view 3D photographs and watch 3D video files on your 3D TV. Watch this video with senior technical marketing manager, Sean Cleveland, for even more info.

With an NVIDIA PC, you will have access to more 3D content than any other platform. Trust me, you will love the experience of seeing your favorite 3D games like StarCraft II, Mafia II or Just Cause 2 in 3D on a big screen TV, such as the Panasonic VIERA 3D Plasma TVs.

If you want to build your own custom 3D home theater PC, Fermi GPUs are your best bet.  Select Fermi GeForce GPUs support for high-definition 24-bit multi-channel audio at up to 192 KHz, lossless DTS-HD Master Audio, and Dolby TrueHD audio bitstreaming, and we also have a dedicated video processing engine for decoding Blu-ray 3D discs.

NVIDIA 3DTV Play software can also be downloaded as a free update to our 3D Vision customers with the latest Release 260 driver, version v260.89.  New 3D Vision PCs – such as the Acer Aspire 5745DG, Asus G53Jw, and Toshiba Satellite A665 – will have 3DTV Play preinstalled.    Make sure you visit the 3DTV Play homepage and refer to the user manual for setup information.3D TV Play For users that don't own 3D Vision PCs, we will offer 3DTV Play as a standalone software product, available to purchase from our NVIDIA Online Store in November – we are just getting our storefront ready to go, so stay tuned!

Get ready to experience 3D in a whole new, bigger way this holiday season!
