Innovation. Philanthropy. Ethics. Supplier responsibility.
Those are a few of the 20 criteria used to build the Dow Jones Sustainability Index.
This week, Dow Jones added NVIDIA to this list of North America’s best performing companies in sustainability.
It’s a prestigious list, putting us in the top fifth of the 600 largest companies in the region.
One of the challenges of getting on the index is that it measures a broad range of initiatives, all aimed at assessing a company’s performance related to sustainability.
You can find that commitment expressed everywhere at NVIDIA.
It means building products – for everything from supercomputers to personal computers – that do more work with less power.
It means working with our suppliers to build a socially and environmentally responsible supply chain.
And it means supporting our customers – ranging from medical suppliers to carmakers – in their own efforts to make a difference.

But what we’re most proud of is this: so many NVIDIANs share this focus on making the world a better place.
Employees in virtually every one of our more than 40 offices take part in philanthropic programs through our employee-led NVIDIA Foundation.
Makes sense. Because if you’re going to try to make the world a better place, it helps to have some 9,000 NVIDIANs working alongside you.
