Hi Matt! Awesome post, awesome tablet and awesome price, I will be buying one tablet for me and one for my little brother.
I have one question, which answer won’t change my mind but will be good to know. Is this K1 32-bits or 64-bits? Thank you!

  • Ezzy

    It’s 64-bit.

  • vidvox

No it isnt. The quad core version of K1 is 32bit and the dual core K1 like in the Nexus 9 is 64bit, not that it really matters though.

  • Ed T.

I was looking forward to this tablet. Its all that I expected. With one VERY critical exception. No LTE. Without this its a nosale here.

  • Michael B

Looks very promising though even without LTE…we will wait for it,Nvidia.

  • Jaime

That’s what I knew, but was somehow hoping for an updated quad-core K1. Anyway it’s an awesome tablet. Can’t wait to have it!

  • Cole Hyntermeister

Have there been ANY signs of the previous issues with the shell of the tablet? It’s the ONLY thing that kept me from getting one before.

  • k9d

Instabuy! Been waiting for this to be refreshed or re-released after trying every other 7-9″ tablet out there. So glad NVIDIA made it through the recall in a professional matter.

  • Edward H

Where can we buy this in Canada?

  • ColdBurrito

So… no sign of this thing in Canada. What gives? I want a tablet and if this doesn’t show up soon I’ll be buying a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact.

  • Jeff Strand (BelieveTheLie)

Have the issues with the case cracking, WiFi, and backlight bleed been addressed? Please provide some detail on what you did to ensure the host of problems with the first shield don’t happen again in the refresh.
