Accelerating Startups: How NVIDIA and Amazon Web Services Are Helping AI Startups Grow Faster

Collaboration provides AI startups with technology, training and support.

NVIDIA is partnering with Amazon Web Services to provide leading-edge infrastructure to startups so they can innovate and grow.

Our new collaboration gives some of the industry’s hottest, most innovative AI startups access to advanced technology, training and support.

Starting today, members of either company’s startup program — NVIDIA Inception or AWS Activate — are eligible to receive benefits provided by the other.

NVIDIA Inception, with more than 4,200 members worldwide, is designed for startups pushing forward advances in AI and data science. Members receive a custom set of ongoing benefits, from hardware discounts and marketing support to training with deep learning experts, as well as networking and business opportunities.

AWS provides a low-cost, easy-to-use cloud infrastructure, including Amazon EC2 – P3 Instances with NVIDIA GPUs, that companies need to scale and grow. AWS Activate provides startups with the resources needed to quickly get started on AWS — including credits, training and support.

Through the companies’ collaboration, NVIDIA Inception’s global members can join AWS Activate and receive business and marketing support, as well as AWS Cloud credits of up to $100,000, which can be used to access NVIDIA’s latest generation GPUs in Amazon EC2 – P3 Instances.

Additionally, AWS will refer its Activate members that are using AI and machine learning to NVIDIA Inception. As new Inception members, they can get immediate discounts on NVIDIA GPUs and Deep Learning Institute credits.

“Dedicated startup programs like AWS Activate and NVIDIA Inception make all the difference as they allow us to support and collaborate with founders when they need us the most,” remarked my counterpart Brad Steele, director of AWS’s Venture Capital business development team. “For over 13 years, AWS has been supporting founders not just with our technology, but also with a combination of mentoring, technical knowledge and business expertise, and we’re excited to be working with NVIDIA to help startups in their mission to solve complex problems.”

“Our team is grateful for the opportunity afforded by our participation in the NVIDIA Inception program, where we’ve utilized educational resources and networking opportunities to continually improve our core AI-driven speech technology,” said Danny Weissberg, co-founder and CEO of Voiceitt, an Inception program member. “Introductions to potential customers and strategic partners through AWS in Israel have opened doors to leaders and influencers within the community of people with disabilities, including the prominent Shalva National Center in Jerusalem. We’re appreciative of the support from partners like NVIDIA and AWS, as we get closer to realizing our vision: to make the benefits of speech recognition technologies universally accessible.”
