Xinzhou Wu is vice president of automotive at NVIDIA. He leads strategy, product planning and engineering execution for the automotive business, partnering with auto manufacturers to enable autonomy in mass production vehicles around the world and to improve the user experience for automotive customers with both in-vehicle and in-cloud AI technologies from NVIDIA. Previously, Wu led XPENG Motor’s Autonomous Driving Center for five years, with a team of 1,000+ members. He was responsible for strategy, product and technology planning, and execution for XPENG’s autonomous driving products. His team delivered advanced autonomous driving solutions in multiple vehicle platforms and significantly accelerated the adoption of high-level autonomous driving technologies. Prior to XPENG, Wu led Qualcomm’s autonomous driving team. Wu received a bachelor’s degree from Tsinghua University, as well as master’s and doctorate degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign — all in electrical engineering. He holds 250+ issued U.S. patents.
