She spent two decades as a reporter with Bloomberg News working out of bureaus based in London, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. She also spent two years at PR and digital marketing agencies writing and editing material for large technology corporations. Half Dutch and half Scottish, she's now based in San Francisco with her family, where the weather is better than in either of her native countries.
