For Jaime Miller, executive assistant to NVIDIA’s chief information officer, there’s no job too big or small. As she helps drive cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, employee experience and talent development across the company’s IT organization, Miller is redefining the perception of administrative roles.
“For me, finding fulfillment in my work means supporting our leaders and organization to achieve their best, whether by proactively addressing challenges or elevating team performance,” said Miller. “My life’s work at NVIDIA is to allow our leaders to do their best work.”
Miller began her career in hospitality and corporate event management. Over a decade ago, she found that her meticulous planning skills seamlessly transferred over to the executive assistant role. Since joining NVIDIA in 2020, Miller has served as a trusted advisor and strategic partner, streamlining operations and driving initiatives to help the IT organization achieve its goals.
How is the executive assistant role at NVIDIA different from what people may expect?
At NVIDIA, we enable our leaders to focus on driving progress and innovation as one team. Our responsibilities extend beyond execution and administrative tasks. We play a strategic role and work closely with our leaders to understand their vision and priorities. By managing where they invest their time, we help them focus on what matters most.
What have been your proudest moments at NVIDIA?
I’m proud to have led the revamp of our hiring process and career development guidelines, which were used by managers across the IT organization in career discussions with their teams.
Where does your passion for enabling and developing talent come from?
I’ve always had a huge passion for cultivating talent, as it ensures our workforce is thriving and able to do their life’s work at NVIDIA. That, in turn, empowers our team to drive the development of innovative technology solutions that enable the productivity of NVIDIANs around the world.
