Alex Fender

Alex Fender is a manager of AI Infrastructure at NVIDIA, where he leads the development of technologies for combinatorial optimization, including ReOpt. Alex is a founding engineer of RAPIDS and was cuGraph’s technical lead for the first 14 releases. Before that, he developed math solvers in the CUDA Toolkit. Alex holds a Ph.D. in computer science, an M.S. in computational science from the University of Paris Saclay, and a Graduate Certificate in Management from Stanford.
