
Mike Kemelmakher
Mike Kemelmakher is the founder and the head of SAP Innovation Center Israel. ICI is a team of experts in engineering, software/hardware architecture, solution management and business development. ICI's focus is on promotion of advanced third-party software/hardware solutions relevant for big data analytics in the SAP ecosystem. Previously, Mike was with the global SAP HANA product management team, where he was responsible for the overall HANA platform (OS & HW) product definition and architecture strategy. Prior to joining SAP, Mike was the CTO of a privately held consulting company based in Israel, providing consulting and R&D services in the fields of infrastructure reliability, high availability, capacity planning, Linux kernel development and performance optimization for large customers in a variety of industries. In this role, Mike had a number of leading companies as clients, including Intel, IBM, Dell, CheckPoint, Comverse, RAFAEL, RadWare, Radvision, and the Israeli Defense Forces. Mike holds an M.Sc. degree in computer science from Bar Ilan University, with specialization in distributed systems and high performance computing. During his M.Sc. studies, Mike was a member of the MOSIX research project, where he closely collaborated with the MOSIX core development team from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
