Taking It to the Max: NVIDIA Paints Adobe MAX Green with RTX-Accelerated Demos and Sketch Match Competition

by Stanley Tack

Whether rendering 3D graphics or editing 8K videos in real time, artists are using the latest tools and applications to take their creativity to another level — and NVIDIA RTX GPUs are powering it all.

Creators from around the world are experiencing how NVIDIA RTX is reinventing design workflows at Adobe MAX, which runs Nov. 3-6 in Los Angeles. With the latest RTX-enabled applications, like Adobe Dimension, Substance Alchemist and Lightroom, designers can use real-time ray tracing and AI acceleration to create high-quality images faster and easier.

Stop by NVIDIA booth 1101 to see the latest NVIDIA RTX Studio systems speed up workflows for 3D animation, photography, editing and graphic design. Demos include:

  • GPU-accelerated video editing and AI auto-reframing in Adobe Premiere Pro on an ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo
  • Ray-traced 3D scene designs with Adobe Dimension on a Lenovo P53 mobile workstation
  • 3D materials created with the help of AI in Substance Alchemist on a GIGABYTE Aero 15
  • GPU-accelerated visual effects using Adobe After Effects and BorisFX on a GIGABYTE Aero 15
  • Painting and texturing 3D graphics with Substance Painter on an Acer ConceptD 7
  • AI-enhanced photo editing and enhancements in Adobe Lightroom, and RTX-accelerated workflows in Adobe Creative Cloud on a Razer Blade 17
  • Interactive landscape painting with AI through NVIDIA GauGAN on Dell Precision 7740 and MSI P65 Creator

Also at the NVIDIA booth, motion graphics artist and owner/operator of Seventh Dream Media, Sabour Amirazodi, will highlight how RTX GPUs accelerate his 3D visual effects workflows in real-time using an incredibly powerful Quad-SLI RTX Studio workstation from BOXX.

Across the show floor, many of our partners like Asus, BOXX, Dell and HP will showcase how NVIDIA RTX Studio systems deliver the advanced capabilities and performance artists need to create their best work wherever they go.

Artists Getting Sketchy

Adobe MAX attendees will put their digital drawing and design skills to the test in NVIDIA’s Sketch Match, a real-time art competition inspired by drawing classes.

Visitors to NVIDIA’s booth are challenged to conceptualize on the fly and show off their creativity using GPU-powered Adobe apps. The themes will be chosen at random with the chance to win a grand prize each day. And everyone gets a prize just for participating.

NVIDIA has teamed with its partners to provide winners with an amazing lineup of prizes, including a $500 Adobe MAX gift card, Adobe Creative Cloud subscriptions, Substance by Adobe licenses, Logitech MX Advanced Wireless mouse and keyboards, Wacom Cintiq 16 and a MSI P65 Creator RTX Studio laptop.
